About Us

Tired Iron of the Ozarks, Inc. was established in 1992 and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating and stimulating continued interest in the collection, restoration, preservation, and exhibition of farm equipment and farm home-related items such as antique tractors, engines, implements, etc. Tired Iron is involved in numerous parades and events in Northwest Arkansas and Southern Missouri throughout the year. Our organization stages two major shows each year, one in April and one in September. In addition, the club welcomes and responds to requests for participation in special events of any organization or community in the region.

Tired Iron of the Ozarks is a member of Early Days Gas Engine and Tractor Association, Incorporated (EDGE&TA). This Association provides Tired Iron with insurance, safety rules, and regulations for putting on events and parades. The Association connects us with many other clubs and collectors from across the USA which allows for collective suggestions for improvement. Our Youth Tractor-Driving Training program is an example of this collaborative interest and effort.

In 2002, Tired Iron purchased 17+ acres of land at 13344 Taylor Orchard Road, Gentry, Arkansas. Through generous support of club members, we were able to pay an initial payment of $12,000. Further member pledges of regular support totaled over $500 per month for land payments and development. A non-member benefactor of our club paid off the balance of about $26,000 in his will and the land is now solely owned by Tired Iron, Inc.
